Privacy Policy

We collect nothing. No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. No third-party SDKs. Everything you write stays on your device, full stop.
1. The short version
1 Minute is a single-developer app designed around one belief: your attention is yours. We built it so that we cannot see what you tap, what you write, when you play, or whether you play at all.
2. Data we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, share, rent, or process any personal information. There are no accounts. There is no sign-in. There is no server you connect to.
3. Data stored on your device
To make the game work between sessions, 1 Minute saves the following locally on your iPhone or iPad, inside the app’s sandboxed localStorage:
- The reframes you write
- Your streak, XP, and Sparks balance
- Your identity-ladder rung
- Your sound, haptics, accessibility, and reminder-time preferences
- Whether you have purchased the Founding Innovator unlock
This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it. Nobody — including us — can recover it.
4. Notifications
If you opt in to a daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally by iOS using a time you choose. We do not run a push server. We do not see whether the notification fires, is opened, or is dismissed.
5. In-app purchases
1 Minute offers one optional, non-consumable purchase: Founding Innovator ($4.99 lifetime unlock). The transaction is processed entirely by Apple’s StoreKit. Apple shares only an anonymous purchase receipt with the app, which we use solely to unlock founder features on-device. We do not see your name, email, payment method, or Apple ID.
Apple’s handling of that transaction is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
6. Children
1 Minute is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because we collect no data, no information from any user — child or adult — is ever transmitted off-device. The app is fully compliant with COPPA and the Apple Kids Category guidelines as a “Data Not Collected” app.
7. Third parties
There are none. No ad networks. No analytics SDKs. No crash reporters. No social-login providers. No font CDNs. The app ships with every asset it needs and makes zero outbound network calls during normal use.
8. Security
Because no data leaves your device, there is no server breach that could expose your reframes or progress. Your data is protected by iOS’s per-app sandbox and, where you have set one, your device passcode.
9. Your rights
You already have them. Because we hold no information about you, there is nothing to request, export, correct, or delete on our end. To remove everything 1 Minute knows, delete the app. Done.
10. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data — for example, to add an optional iCloud backup — this page will be updated and the change will be noted in the next release’s “What’s New.” We will never quietly start collecting data.
